Tuesday's premiere of Fox's Scream
Queens marks the second gay television role for Nick Jonas.
Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk
and Ian Brennan, Scream Queens centers on a series of murders
involving the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority.
Jonas plays Boone, a member of the
Dickie Dollar Scholars.
“I've been so honored to get to play
some really strong gay characters … and whatever I can do for the
community is just a blessing to me,” Jonas told Entertainment
Tonight.
Jonas also plays an MMA fighter on
DirecTV's Kingdom, which returns for its second season October
14.

When asked which role promises the most
skin for fans, Jonas said that that might be a toss up.
“I think it might be Scream
Queens,” Jonas said. “There's a scene or two that I'm
shirtless in. But in Kingdom, I play a fighter too, so there
is a lot. It's a lot of shirtlessness.”
