Nick Jonas said last week that he's
committed to his Kingdom gay character, even if that includes
filming sex scenes.
Season one of the DirecTV series ended
with the revelation that MMA fighter Nate Kulina is gay.
During an Outfest panel, series creator
Byron Blasco was asked whether Nate will have full-on gay sex scenes
in the upcoming season.
“A man has needs,” Blasco
responded. “It's a deep internal struggle and it's very difficult
for this character.”
Jonas added: “He's not really okay
with what's happening at the moment … it's going to go there, I'm
sure.”
“It's an incredibly important story
on all levels – acceptance isn't the first word in this [fighting]
world. I'm willing to go on the journey wherever it takes me. I'm
committed.”
