Are They Now? Oprah Winfrey is seen asking actress Raven-Symone
Christina Pearman, known simply as Raven-Simone or Raven, whether
she's gay.
Last year, Raven-Symone made headlines
with a tweet in which she cheered the start of gay marriage laws in
Minnesota and Rhode Island.
“I can finally get married! Yay
government! So proud of you,” she messaged.
Raven-Symone, who is best known for her
roles on NBC's The Cosby Show and Disney Channel's That's
So Raven, later told Gossip
Cop that she wasn't planning a wedding.
“I am very happy gay marriage is
opening up around the country and is being accepted,” Raven-Symone
said. “I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay
marriage. I, however, am not currently getting married, but it is
great to know I can now, should I wish to.”
Cabler OWN will broadcast the
episode on Sunday, October 5.
