Designer Michael Kors has confirmed he's marrying longtime boyfriend Lance LePere.

Celebrity tabloid Life & Style first noted that the pair were spotted in New York City on Wednesday applying for a marriage license.

“They were both very casually dressed,” an eyewitness told the glossy. “He was really nice and let the girls at the office take his picture.”

The 51-year-old Kors on Thursday confirmed that the couple was getting hitched.

“Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together,” he told Us Magazine.

“We have no plans for a major party,” he added. “But we will be getting married privately.”

Kors, who can also be seen judging on cabler Bravo's fashion reality series Project Runway, and LePere met in 1990, when LePere joined Kors' design firm in Paris as an intern. He's now the firm's creative director.

On Thursday, designer Brian Atwood tweeted to his more than 26,000 followers “Just engaged,” along with a photo of himself and his husband to be, Dr. Jake Deutsch.

Last month, New York became the sixth state to legalize gay marriage.
