Two-time Olympian Johnny Weir says he
has a wife in his future.
The three-time U.S. National Figure
Skating champion and star of cabler Logo's reality hit Be Good
Johnny Weir came out gay in his memoir Welcome to my World,
which was released in January.
The 27-year-old Weir lives in New York,
where gay marriage has been legal for over a week now, and in a
recent interview with New York Magazine, Weir revealed plans
for his future wedding.
When asked, “Are you getting out of
the city soon?” Weir answered: “I'm going to China for some
performances. And then I'm going to Turks and Caicos with Meg
Carlozzi, who's a fashion publicist and my future wife. We're
turning our phones off, we're not taking computers, we're just going
to sit and have wine and do massage. I'm going to teach her mat
Pilates in the morning, and she'll teach me yoga at night.”
The
interviewer didn't skip a beat, asking, “You can teach
Pilates?” (he's “hard-core”) and, “What does your luggage
situation look like?” (it's 3 “giant suitcases that are about the
size of a Ford Focus”).
