In the August issue of GQ, Larry
King says he would marry CNN anchor Anderson Cooper.
It's all in fun, we're sure, since
neither man is openly gay.
The editors of the men's fashion glossy
gave King, the former host of CNN's Larry King Live, three CNN
male hosts to choose from in their game of F#%K MARRY KILL.
King said he would f#%k Sanjay Gupta
because “he's the prettiest,” kill Wolf Blitzer because “even
though he's Jewish the name sounds German” and “You have to kill
the German when you're Jewish,” and marry Cooper.
“Yes, I'd marry Anderson Cooper,”
King is quoted as saying by the magazine. “That's logical.”
The 77-year-old King has been a vocal
equality advocate. He previously recorded a
video urging New Yorkers to support marriage equality and posed
for the NOH8 Campaign, which raises funds and awareness
for gay rights causes. He's also scheduled to appear in an upcoming
PSA for Freedom to Marry's Say, I Do campaign, which
urges President Barack Obama to endorse gay marriage.
