Cory Monteith, who plays Finn Hudson on
the Fox musical-comedy Glee, is standing up for his gay male
friends.
The 29-year-old Monteith on Friday
joined fellow actor Josh Hutcherson in recording a video for Avan
Jogia's Straight
But Not Narrow campaign.
“So, maybe you like to play football,
maybe you like to sing and dance, maybe you like both. Maybe you
don't like either. Doesn't matter. Just be yourself. Just be you,
because that's good enough for me,” Monteith says in his 52-second
video. “We're guys talking to guys about guys who like guys.”

In his video, 18-year-old Hutcherson of
The Kids Are All Right says, “So, there's a lot of gay
people talking to gay people about being gay, but we are a group of
straights. And we're here to say we're okay with people being gay.”
“Does it really matter if your guy
friends like guys over girls? I mean, doesn't that kind of leave
more girls for you?” he adds.
Jogia, 19, who plays Ben Stark on
cabler SyFy's Battlestar Galactica spinoff Caprica and
Beck Oliver on the Nickelodeon teen sitcom Victorious,
launched
his campaign earlier this year with a video featuring himself.
