On Wednesday's episode of MTV's The
Real World: Las Vegas, Dustin Zito acknowledged his gay porn past
to his girlfriend.
Zito, who appeared as “Spencer” on
gay porn sites Fratmen.com and Fratpad.com, had previously made
homophobic comments to housemates on the reality show's 25th
season.
On the episode, Zito, 24, at first
attempts to deny he had sex on camera.
“You got taped having sex,” Heather
says. “It's all over the Internet.”
“Wait, what? I didn't get taped
having sex. Yeah, OK, I got naked and stuff. There wasn't no
touching involved.”
“So, you never did anything where you
touched anyone else?” she asks.
“On a video, yes, I did,” Zito
replies.
In earlier episodes, Zito appeared to
make homophobic comments.
“People were put on the Earth for one
fucking reason and it is to reproduce,” he once told his roommates.
Zito made a brief reference to this
former gay-for-play past during the show's season premiere.
Several gay porn blogs have alleged
that they were asked to remove photos and videos of Zito as Spencer
engaged in gay sex.
“After I linked to images of Dustin's
anal sex scene on my website, reality blurred, Fratmen's [executive
producer John] Marsh sent me an email message suggesting, bizarrely,
that the video may never have existed or that 'one of the performers
was under 18 years old on the date of production,'” wrote
Andy Dehnart at TheDailyBeast.com.
Wednesday's episode drew the show's
largest audience in 3 years. More than 2.5 million viewers tuned in
for Zito's acknowledgment.
