It's a quick hook up for Trevor
Donovan's gay character during spring break before he moves on from
Ian, played by Canadian pop singer Kyle Riabko, on 90210.
The CW's nighttime teenage drama has
recruited Alan Ritchson to bed Donovan's Teddy next month. The
28-year-old fashion model turned actor-singer is best known for his
portrayal of Aquaman on the CW's Smallville. He
plays football captain Thad Castle on Spike's Blue Mountain
State.
Several sources are reporting that
Teddy runs into Tripp during a spring break excursion. While
reminiscing, Teddy reveals that he once had a crush on his former
prep school roommate and that he's gay.
But it's not love for Teddy – Tripp
isn't looking.
However, romance is coming Teddy's way.
Newcomer Freddie Smith is expected to
fill the void left by Riabko, who is reportedly leaving the soap of
his own accord.
According to Entertainment Weekly,
producers describe Smith's role of Marco as “hot” and
“super-athletic.”
Smith is expected to heat up West
Beverly Hills High starting in February, which leaves Teddy little
time to move on from Ian, hook up with Tripp and romance Marco. That
is, if events unfold as expected.
