Gold medal-winning Olympic skier Jonny
Moseley says he's amping up his style for Skating with the Stars
judge John G. 'Johnny' Weir.
Moseley is among the twelve inaugural
contestants on ABC's Monday night premiere of the reality show that
pairs celebrities with professionals from the world of figure
skating.
“You show up for the day and they add
sequins to [your costume] so what are you going to do?!” Moseley
told celebrity website RadarOnline.com.
“I'm not afraid,” the first Puerto
Rican member of the U.S. Ski Team added. “Johnny Weir is a judge
and style is going to be important. I've got to push the limit a
little bit.”
The 26-year-old Weir, named
Diva of the Year by gay glossy Out,
is
known for his daring – some would say flamboyant – style.
Weir, a 3-time U.S. National Figure
Skating champion, will be joined on the three-judge panel by former
figure skater and television commentator Dick Button and
choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson during the 2-hour show based on the
BBC hit Dancing on Ice.
