Miley Cyrus has denied she kissed a
girl while performing her latest single Can't Be Tamed on the
UK's Britain's Got Talent, the Simon Cowell created talent
contest.
The 17-year-old Hanna Montana
star said on her blog
Thursday that she was just rocking out.
Cyrus' performance was a live
recreation of the video version of Can't Be Tamed, in which
Cyrus is a beautiful and rare bird being displayed in a gilded cage
for the elite's amusement. Little do they realize that this sexy
bird is too wild to be confined.
Appearing on the stage in sexy fishnet
stockings, tousled hair and little more, Cyrus swooped down on a
female dancer and the pair gave the impression of sharing a series of
passionate kisses choreographed to the music.
But it was a faux lesbian kiss, Cyrus
insists.
“During my performance I supposedly
'KISSED A GIRL,'” Cyrus wrote.
“I promise you I did not kiss her and
it is ridiculous that two entertainers can't even rock out with each
other without the media making it some type of story,” she added.
Cyrus goes on to explain that what she
did was her job as an entertainer.
In 2003, Britney Spears and Madonna
made headlines when the pair shared a passionate kiss during a MTV
Video Music Awards performance.
