American Idol runner-up Adam
Lambert is reportedly readying to come out on the cover of a major
magazine.
Lambert might have scored second to
Kris Allen on Fox's popular singing contest but the media's obsessive
speculation about his sexuality, at, some would say, Lambert's own
prodding, has thrust the twenty-seven-year-old into a dazzling
spotlight.
The New York Post's venerable
babble-zine Page Six is reporting the singer will end his coy
act and come out gay on the cover of next week's Rolling Stone.
“He didn't want it to be an issue
during the contest, but he's fine with his sexuality,” the paper
quotes an anonymous insider.
Previous celebrities who have come out
on the cover of a major magazine include comedienne Ellen DeGeneres
and former American Idol contestant Clay Aiken who both
announced being gay on the cover of People Magazine.
