Caitlyn Jenner, Laverne Cox, Buck Angel, Amos Mac Appear In HBO's 'The Trans List'

Olympian Caitlyn Jenner, actress Laverne Cox, adult film star Buck Angel and artist Amos Mac are among the transgender individuals who appear in HBO's documentary The Trans List.

Eleven transgender individuals are profiled in director Timothy Greenfield-Sanders' (The Black List, The Out List, The Latino List) The Trans List.

Interviewer Janet Mock lets these individuals tell their own stories in their own words.

The film also includes lawyer Kylar Broadus, British model Caroline Cossey, TransLatin founder Bamby Salcedo, Miss Major Griffin-Gracy (an activist who participated in the Stonewall riots), activist Nicole Maines, U.S. Army Sergeant Shane Ortega, and performance artist Alok Vaid-Menon.

“We live in a world that tells so many people that they're not enough,” Cox is seen saying in a trailer for the film. “I'm here to tell you that you are.”

HBO will debut The Trans List on Monday, December 5.
