Soccer star Abby Wambach is dating
Christian blogger Glennon Doyle Melton.
“Feels like the world could use all
the love it can get right now,” Melton captioned a picture of the
pair on Twitter. “So today, I'm sharing with you my new love.”
Melton is the author of Love
Warrior, a New York Times bestselling memoir and an Oprah
Book Club pick. She documents her life as a mother and Christian in
detail at her blog, Momastery.
“Abby is deeply sensitive and kind,”
Melton wrote on Facebook. “The kids call her an M&M because
she looks tough on the outside but inside she’s really mushy and
sweet. Abby’s brave. Not just with her words but with her entire
being. She has never been afraid to be herself, even when the world
told her not to be. I learn from her everyday about the woman I want
to become.”
Melton announced her separation from
husband Craig in August. Wambach is also recently single.
