Christian conservative Janet Porter
claimed on Monday that Hillary Clinton's support for LGBT rights will
push the world toward the Last Days.
Porter appeared on Point of View
radio show to pitch her film Light Wins, which features
appearances from several prominent Republicans, including Mike
Huckabee and Rand Paul.
Porter told guest host Representative
Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, that legal marriages between gay and lesbian
couples caused Noah's Flood, a claim she also makes in the film.
“We know homosexuality was widespread
in Greece and Rome and Babylon and especially in Sodom and Gomorrah
but that's a little scary that it wasn't legal except before the
flood,” Gohmert pointed out.
“You know, it kind of tells you where
we are in the overall timeline,” Porter
said.
“Does it ever,” Gohmert
interrupted.
“It points to where we are right now
in terms of our choices for the next president of the United States.
One thing that I heard very clearly last night is that Hillary
Clinton said she will put justices that will not only uphold Roe
v. Wade but they will continue to undermine and redefine marriage
and assault our freedoms as we've seen as a result of the Obergefell
decision and so much leading up to it.”
“Marriage matters because it matters
to God. … [T]his was the issue that led to the flood and that this
will be a sign of what's to come that 'as it was in the days of Noah
so it will be in the coming of the Son of Man.' If we don't correct
this, then we are crying out for judgment. We are crying out for the
end of the world as we know it.”
“Yeah, this is all about whether we
survive as a nation. Whether we survive in this world to continue
our destiny. We got a shot. I for one don't want to blow it,”
Porter added.
