I Am Jazz returns for its
sophomore season on TLC on Wednesday.
The reality series follows Jazz
Jennings, a 15-year-old transgender activist living in Florida, as
she juggles high school, dating and personal appearances. The show
also includes Jazz's parents Greg and Jeanette, siblings Ari,
Griffen, Sander, and her maternal grandparents Jack and Jacky.
At this year's GLAAD Media Awards, I
Am Jazz tied with I Am Cait in the Outstanding Reality
Program category.
(Reality: Caitlyn
Jenner's I
Am Cait,
Jazz Jennings' I
Am Jazz
split GLAAD Media Award.)
In
a trailer for the upcoming season, Jazz is seen taking driving
lessons from her father and flirting with a boy.
“My baby is growing up, but I'm
always going to worry about her,” Jeanette tells viewers.
During a radio show appearance, a
caller asks some difficult questions – “How do you even approach
dating? You have a penis, right?” – that push Jazz into
considering the “bottom surgery.”
