Here TV on Wednesday announced that its
slate of programming is now available as a monthly subscription on
Amazon Video for Prime members.
The LGBT network is best known for
airing the Academy Award-winning film Departures, and Emmy
nominated documentaries 30 Years from Here and A World of
Dreams: Voices from the OUT100.
“We’re ecstatic that Here TV’s
award-winning collection of LGBT films and series are now available
as a monthly subscription on Amazon Video,” John Mongiardo, senior
vice president of programming and broadcast operations at Here TV,
said in a statement. “The offering makes Here TV content available
to a highly engaged streaming audience in an easy to use manner for
customers.”
Here TV launched in 2002 and is
currently available on all major cable systems. Its content is also
available on YouTube Premium and Hulu.
Other notable shows include Dante's
Cove, a supernatural soap opera which ended its third season in
2007, and The Lair, a gay-themed vampire series which also ran
for three seasons.
