NBC News is reporting that Ohio
Governor John Kasich will end his bid for the White House during a
press conference scheduled to take place at 5PM on Wednesday.
“BREAKING: John Kasich to suspend his
campaign for president, senior campaign adviser says,” NBC News
tweeted.
The Kasich campaign has confirmed that
Kasich will make an announcement about his campaign from Columbus,
Ohio.
The news comes after Kasich abruptly
canceled a news conference Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday, Texas Senator Ted Cruz
suspended his bid for the GOP presidential nomination, leaving Kasich
and Donald Trump as the remaining GOP candidates.
Cruz's exit came after Trump won a
landslide victory in Indiana.

Kasich trails Trump by almost 900
delegates but has previously vowed to stay in the race until
Republicans meet in Cleveland in July.
