In an interview on the red carpet at
Saturday's 27th annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles,
Jill Soloway, the creator and executive producer of Amazon's
Transparent, said that Caitlyn Jenner will join the show in
season 3.
“She will be in season 3,” Soloway
told an AP reporter.
“Have you already filmed it?”
“We're filming it next week,”
Soloway answered. “It's a dream come true.”
“We are all part of the same
community. A lot of the transwomen who work on our show are also in
her show, I Am Cait. Lots of crossover. Lots of friends,”
she added.
Jenner's I Am Cait shared the
Outstanding Reality Program award at Saturday's event with TLC's I
Am Jazz. Transparent won in the Outstanding Comedy Series
category.
