Gay GOP group Log Cabin Republicans on Monday released an ad questioning Donald Trump's position on marriage equality.

At last week's Fox News debate, Trump made his strongest statements yet against the Supreme Court's June finding that gay and lesbian couples have a constitutional right to marry, calling it an “illegitimate and wrong decision.”

Over the weekend, the Republican candidate refused to answer a reporter's question on the subject and instructed him to “sit down.”

The 60-second ad uses Trump's own words to challenge his opposition.

“The decision has been made, and that's the law of the land,” Trump says in one interview.

In another clip he says, “It's a conversation that more and more people are having, and anything can happen.”

The video, titled Donald Trump: “Trust Me,” ends with a question: “Where do you really stand on marriage equality, Mr. Trump?”
