Dowling covers the latest issue of UK gay glossy Gay Times.
“I am SO happy to finally be able to
announce this @gaytimesmag cover!” Dowling wrote in an Instagram
post. “They asked me to be their first EVER Transgender cover and
did and AWESEOME interview that I love!”
The cover features a shirtless Dowling
next to the headline, “What A Man! The incredible journey of
Aydian Dowling.”
Dowling, who came out lesbian as a
teenager before identifying as transgender, has been documenting his
5-year transition on his YouTube
channel. He also hosts a
YoutTube fitness channel geared toward trans people.
He gained greater visibility last year
competing to be 2015's Ultimate Men's Health Guy.
