Among the 10 films on gay glossy Out's list of top LGBT documentaries of 2015 are stories about comedian Tig Notaro, 50s heartthrob Tab Hunter and gay porn mogul Chuck Holmes.

Holmes built Falcon Studios into the world's largest producer of gay male pornography. In Seed Money: The Chuck Holmes Story, porn and politics collide as Holmes and his long-term partner Steven Scarborough use their fortune to help fund the burgeoning LGBT rights movement But their help wasn't always appreciated.

Tab Hunter Confidential takes a look at the unraveling of Tab Hunter's career as a movie star. Hunter was Hollywood's all-American boy next door until rumors surfaced that he might be gay. The film, which is based on Hunter's 2005 autobiography of the same name, also takes a look at Hunter's relationship with Anthony Perkins.
