Personal trainer, author and television
personality Jillian Michaels says her upcoming reality series is like
a “big, gay Modern Family.”
The 41-year-old Michaels is best known
for her appearances on NBC's The Biggest Loser and Losing
It with Jillian and CBS' The Doctors.
Fans will get up close and personal
with Michaels on her new 8-part docu-series Just Jillian,
which premieres Tuesday, January 19 on E!
Appearing on the show will be
girlfriend Heidi Rhoades. The couple is raising five-year-old
daughter Lukensia (“Lu”) and three-year-old son Phoenix.
A trailer for the program shows a
hesitant Michaels picking an engagement ring.
“I find that we have very typical
issues that other couples have,” Michaels said of her relationship.
“You go to dinner with a couple and you hear the same shit that
goes on in your own household, so I think it will be fun for people.
It's sort of like a big, gay Modern Family … It's a lot of
fun.”
