The debut of I Am Cait on Sunday attracted 2.7 million viewers, according to Nielsen.

The New York Times called the numbers for the highly-anticipated E! reality series about Caitlyn Jenner “solid.” In I Am Cait, the network scored its third-largest audience this year.

Jenner debuted last month on the cover of Vanity Fair.

Earlier this month, she accepted this year's Arthur Ashe Courage Award for her coming out as a transgender woman.
