Out filmmaker Dustin Lance Black and Neon Trees lead singer Tyler Glenn play a former couple in the video for the Utah-based rock band's latest single Songs I Can't Listen To.

In the 3-minute video, Glenn sings, “And it's all because we're through; I got a list of songs I can't listen to,” over images of the pair riding in a convertible and waking up in bed. In one sequence, the men float into air as if in space after sharing a kiss. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)

Black won an Academy Award in 2009 for his screenplay of Milk, which is based on the life of gay activist and politician Harvey Milk.

Glenn came out gay in a tweet to followers last year: “Yes. I am a happy and healthy Mormon gay pop star. I don't know what it all means, but I'm ok with it.”
