Out filmmaker Dustin Lance Black and
Neon Trees lead singer Tyler Glenn play a former couple in the video
for the Utah-based rock band's latest single Songs I Can't Listen
To.
In the 3-minute video, Glenn sings,
“And it's all because we're through; I got a list of songs I can't
listen to,” over images of the pair riding in a convertible and
waking up in bed. In one sequence, the men float into air as if in

Black won an Academy Award in 2009 for
his screenplay of Milk, which is based on the life of gay
activist and politician Harvey Milk.

Glenn came out gay in a tweet to
followers last year: “Yes. I am a happy and healthy Mormon gay pop
star. I don't know what it all means, but I'm ok with it.”
