WNBA players Brittney Griner and Glory
Johnson married Friday in Phoenix, Arizona.
According to CNN,
the women, both 24, exchanged vows during a ceremony held at the
Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort.
Johnson, a forward with the Tulsa
Shock, wore a strapless gown, while Griner, a Phoenix Mercury center,
paired a tan suit with white converse sneakers. Johnson's search for
the perfect wedding dress was featured in an episode of TLC's Say
Yes to the Dress.
Many wondered if the wedding would take
place after an arrest last month. Police were called to the couple's
home in Goodyear, Arizona on April 23. According to the Arizona
Republic, both were arrested on allegations of assault and
disorderly conduct. Johnson's sister told police that the two were
throwing things at each other.
Griner proposed to Johnson last year
after reportedly dating for about two months.
