Matt Bomer thanked his husband Simon
Halls and their three sons for their support in accepting a People's
Choice Award on Wednesday.
Bomer won in the Favorite Cable TV
Actor category for his portrayal of con artist Neal Caffrey in cabler
USA Network's White Collar,
which recently ended after six seasons.
“What
an incredible thing to have happen at the end of a series,” Bomer
said in accepting this prize.
“Thank
you for standing by this show. Thank you to my incredible family,
Simon, Kit, Walker and Henry – hi guys – for putting up with me
commuting across the country for six years.”
Bomer
also thanked his fans: “You taught me so much about love and
commitment and acceptance over the years and I love you for it.
Thank you so much for this. It's Amazing.”
Bomer
is also nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his performance in the
AIDS drama The Normal Heart.
