Matt Bomer thanked his husband Simon Halls and their three sons for their support in accepting a People's Choice Award on Wednesday.

Bomer won in the Favorite Cable TV Actor category for his portrayal of con artist Neal Caffrey in cabler USA Network's White Collar, which recently ended after six seasons.

What an incredible thing to have happen at the end of a series,” Bomer said in accepting this prize.

Thank you for standing by this show. Thank you to my incredible family, Simon, Kit, Walker and Henry – hi guys – for putting up with me commuting across the country for six years.”

Bomer also thanked his fans: “You taught me so much about love and commitment and acceptance over the years and I love you for it. Thank you so much for this. It's Amazing.”

Bomer is also nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his performance in the AIDS drama The Normal Heart.
