PBS on Tuesday will broadcast the Kennedy Center Honors gala held earlier this month in celebration of five amazing artists.

2014 recipients include actor Tom Hanks, singer-songwriter Sting, singer Al Green, ballerina Patricia McBride and comedian Lily Tomlin.

Stephen Colbert hosted this year's event.

Jane Fonda took the stage to pay tribute to her 9 to 5 co-star (the pair reunite in an upcoming Netflix series).

“I can't imagine what 9 to 5 would have been without Lily's light touch. Left to my own devices, it probably would have turned into They Shoot Bosses, Don't They?” Fonda said.

Jane Lynch (Glee), Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live) and singer Reba McEntire also spoke on Tomlin's behalf.

On Wednesday, Tomlin will celebrate her one year anniversary to wife Jane Wagner. The couple married in New York after more than 40 years together.
