Former rugby star Ben Cohen's StandUp
Foundation is now taking pre-orders for its 2015 calendar, the first
to feature a centerfold of Cohen.
The openly straight Cohen, 36, retired
from rugby in 2011 and launched the StandUp Foundation to combat
homophobia and the bullying of LGBT teens. Cohen is particularly
interested in promoting greater acceptance in the world of sports.
The group's calendar has become a
perennial favorite among fans.
On Thursday, Outsports.com
published half of the centerfold image, which features Cohen in a
locker room shower.
The
image “was captured by Los Angeles photographer Edwin Santiago.
What is fully revealed won't be known until the 2015 calendar ships,
closer to the holidays,” the site wrote.
Patrick T. Davis, co-founder and CEO of
StandUp, said the organization has so far given out more than 50
grants.
The calendar is $34.99 and can be
ordered at WorldRugbyShop.com.
