Australian pop singer Anthony Callea
and actor Tim Campbell have announced plans to wed in New Zealand.
“It will be intimate but exciting and
a lot of fun,” Callea told Woman's
Day. “We don't put boring parties together.”
Together for 7 years, Campbell popped
the question during a quiet night at home.
“We're the most non-traditional
couple,” Campbell said. “I wish I had a romantic story about it
all on the Sydney Harbour Bridge or something.”
Callea explained that the couple
decided to marry while sitting on the couch.
“We were sitting on the couch and I
was on my second scotch and Tim was on his first white wine and we
made the decision there and then.”
“I totally fell in love with his
beautiful spirit,” Callea said.
“And I fell in love with someone with
a massive heart,” Campbell said.
Callea's career soared after being the
runner-up in the 2004 season of Australian Idol.
