In response to a Texas restaurant
kicking out a gay couple due to a “no fags” policy, pranksters on
Yelp.com turned the eatery into the “#1 gay hangout in Texas.”
On their way out from Big Earl's Bait
House and Country Store in Pittsburg, Collin Dewberry and Kelley were
directed to a posted sign: “Welcome to Big Earl's where men act
like men, women act like ladies, no saggy pants and we reserve the
right to refuse service to anyone.”
“And so I laughed and I asked what do
you mean?” Dewberry
said. “And that's when she [the owner's daughter] said to us,
'To put it plainly, we don't serve fags here.'”

Yelp commenter wrote: “I thought this gay bar catered to all
members of the LGBT community, but I was dead wrong apparently. 'Big
Earl' himself blocked the door wearing assless chaps and a ball gag
around his neck before I could even fully walk through the entrance.
He told me, 'There ain't no room for dickless dykes in my hot dog ho
down.' Oook. I'll take my lezzy ass elsewhere.”
“The previous reviews are right about
the glory hole,” another commenter wrote. “Men were constantly
going in and out of the restroom and one even came to our table. If
I could give this pace negative stars I would. The name pretty much
says it all.”
Another added: “The food is terrible,
but this is a great place to take in a drag show, sing some Lady Gaga
for karaoke night or cruise for guys.”
