Amy Kushnir said Thursday during an
appearance on Fox News that she was shocked that ESPN would broadcast
a kiss between Michael Sam and his boyfriend, Vito Cammisano.
Kushnir made headlines this week when
she walked off the set of The Broadcast as the four co-hosts
debated the kiss, which took place when Sam learned that he had been
drafted by the St. Louis Rams.

“When parents do not have a choice
about whether or not they want their children to see this, it is
wrong,” Kushnir told her co-hosts. “He has every right to do
what he wants, I just don't want it in my face.”
Fox News anchor Shanon Bream asked
Kushnir whether she was concerned with “beer commercials with
people falling out of their clothes” or “were you specifically
concerned because this was something maybe you didn't want your kids
exposed to?”
“In this case, we were specifically
talking about the Michael Sam incident,” Kushnir
explained. “I didn't feel it was appropriate. It was actually
over the top. ESPN used it as an opportunity to put out shocking
video, when ESPN is a sports network that families watch.”
Kushnir accused ESPN of using the
incident “to promote their left-wing agenda.”
