The upcoming wedding of former 'NSyncer
Lance Bass and actor-model Michael Turchin is going to be a
television special to be broadcast on cabler E!
Bass and Turchin got engaged in New
Orleans shortly after the 'NSync reunion during MTV's Video Music
Awards in September. The couple said last year that they are
planning a fall 2014 wedding to be held in California.
“We're filming it for an E! wedding
special,” Bass, 35, told Gay
Star News at Saturday's Voice Awards, which he co-hosted. “It
will probably air around Valentine's Day so it has to be before
Valentine's Day I know that.”

“Never in my lifetime did I think
that I'd be able to get married legally,” Bass explained. “It's
just amazing how fast everything is going right now and I'm just
honored to be able to share my wedding with the world. As a little
gay kid growing up in Mississippi, I would have loved to have turned
on the television and see that happen and say, 'Oh my gosh, there's
nothing wrong with me and I can have that.'”
He predicted “a lot of tears” on
his wedding day.
