“We recognize change is happening
every day, from the way in which a family looks today to how a family
interacts to the way it is portrayed in the media,” Gary Osifchin,
senior marketing director for biscuits at Mondelez International,
which owns Honey Maid, said in a statement. “We at Honey Maid
continue to evolve and expand our varieties to provide delicious,
wholesome products so they can be a part of everyday moments of
connection in a world with changing, evolving family dynamics.”
In
a behind-the-scenes video, the dads say they met in line at a
coffee shop.
“I knew that week that I was going to
marry him,” one of the men says.
“What's interesting is, you said you
knew you were going to marry me. But that wasn't even in our thought
then,” the other man says.
“Like, having a mortgage together was
what marriage used to be for gay couples. So yeah, that's what I
thought.”
Being parents, the men say, has
enriched their lives.
“It's almost overwhelming, that kind
of love,” one says.
