Mary Lambert on Tuesday performed acoustic versions of three songs live at Billboard's studio, including She Keeps Me Warm, an extension of Same Love, the hit gay marriage anthem she collaborated on with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. In Same Love – available on The Heist – Lambert sings the chorus, “And I can't change; even if I tried; even if I wanted to; my love she keeps me warm,” as Macklemore raps.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have received 7 Grammy nominations, including best song for Same Love.

Lambert also performed I Know Girls (Body Love) and Wheatus' Teenage Dirtbag.

In introducing Teenage Dirtbag, Lambert stated: “I was in high school when I came out. I was like 17. And I heard that song, and I was like floored. I was like, 'This is a lesbian love song.' 'Cause I thought it was a woman singing. And then I found out that it was just, you know, a guy with a high voice, which was awesome, too. I was so excited because it captured all of those, like, those feelings in high school – your first love and, like, they don't even know that you exist and then they do know you exist. It captured that time for me, you know, that first love time.”
