Actress Sharon Stone on Sunday hosted
the American Foundation for AIDS Research's (amfAR) first ever gala
in India.
Two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank and
Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were
among the celebrities seen on the red carpet.
The event featured a cocktail
reception, dinner and live auction.
The fundraiser held at the Taj Mahal
hotel in Mumbai concluded with a special performance by international
pop sensation Ke$ha.
Before the party got underway, Stone,
amfAR's global fundraising chairman, tweeted a picture to her nearly
4,500 followers of the hotel's ballroom as staffers prepared the
room.
“Looking down from my room to the
prep for tonight's @amfAR India. Wish me luck,” she
messaged.
