Actor Sir Ian McKellen, statistician
Nate Silver, singer Mary Lambert and actor-model Laverne Cox are
among those making gay glossy Out's annual Out100 list.
Out editors this week started
teasing photos of the magazine's upcoming double issue of
notables.
Also making the list are soccer player
Robbie Rogers – who became the U.S.'s first openly gay man to play
in a professional sports league when he debuted in May with the LA
Galaxy – actor George Takei, journalist Frank Bruni, transgender
advocate Janet Mock, director John Krokidas, HRC President Chad
Griffin, Pennsylvania State Rep. Brian Sims, and singer-songwriter
Steve Grand.
Cassidy Lynn Campbell, the 16-year-old
transgender student who was crowned homecoming queen in September,
and the two couples whose lawsuit brought down Proposition 8 are also
included.
