The three brothers behind the pop rock ban Jonas Brothers say gay
rumors are part and parcel of being in a boy band.
Kevin Jonas II, Joe Adam Jonas and Nick Jerry Jonas discussed
persistent gay rumors in their first interview with gay glossy Out.
“We have a lot of gay friends and gay fans,” Joe said. “It's
a boy band stereotype; people assume, but we don't take offense.”
Nick added: “Prior to us being a band, I was a super theater
geek. I loved theater and I still do, and I care about fashion, and
I care about a lot of things that I feel like stereotypes are
attached to.”
Being in Out, Joe said, “is a moment for us for sure. We
keep saying, 'Well, it's about time.'”
The Jonas Brothers have released three singles from their fifth
studio album V, to be released in 2013.
