Ellen DeGeneres on Thursday played host to Spencer Stout and Dustin Reese, telling the Utah couple that their heartwarming marriage proposal in a Home Depot lumber aisle left her in tears.

Stout's marriage proposal – complete with a flashmob dancing to Betty Who's Somebody Loves You – has received more than 9 million views on YouTube.com.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Stout told DeGeneres that the proposal was three months in the making.

“There was a lot that went into that and keeping that away from him was probably the hardest thing I've ever done,” Stout said.

“It was the biggest surprise of my life,” Reese said. “You don't expect for anything like that to happen.”

“I was crying,” DeGeneres told the couple. “You can just see that it is just pure love.”

DeGeneres gave the men $10,000 and an all-expenses paid honeymoon to Australia. (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
