Actress Chloe Grace Moretz sticks up for her older gay brothers.

Moretz, who is best know for playing Hit-Girl in the Kick-Ass film series, told Seventeen magazine that she won't put up with people putting down her family.

“I have two gay brothers and two straight bothers,” Moretz said. “And my gay brothers were treated horrifically until they grew up and understood how to deal with it.”

“My mom has always taught us that blood is thicker than water. We are the closest family ever and we are the most insane family ever. It may look weird to others, but to us, it's life.”

“I will delete you and I will block you, and you will not be a part of my life if you ever say anything bad about my bothers,” she added in her cover interview for the magazine's October issue, which hits newstands next week.

Moretz, 16, stars in the upcoming remake of the 1976 Steven King classic horror movie Carrie, which opens in theaters next month.
