Christian conservative Bryan Fischer claims that 90% of Americans
are “disgusted” by the thought of gay sex.
Fischer made the claim Thursday on his AFA-sponsored radio
program, Focal Point, in the course of discussing San Antonio
Councilwoman Elisa Chan's secretly recorded anti-gay remarks.
Chan has been under pressure to resign following the revelation of
a secretly recorded meeting in which she called gays “disgusting”
and unfit to parent.

Fischer, a vocal opponent of gay rights, defended Chan, saying
that she does not need to apologize for saying “things that anybody
who is thinking rightly and clearly about homosexuality would
believe.”
“I would guarantee you,” Fischer told his audience, “90
percent of the American people, if they would stop and think about
what actually happens in homosexual sexual behavior, they would find
