Former Navy Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt says Jesus will “strike down” gays when he returns.

Klingenschmitt made national headlines when he challenged the military's rule on inclusive prayers during events which include a multi-faith audience such as ship commissionings and change-of-command ceremonies. A born-again Christian, Klingenschmitt demanded the right to pray “in the name of Jesus” in public settings. He was honorably discharged for insubordination.

On his new YouTube show, Pray in Jesus Name, Klingenschmitt, also “Dr. Chaps,” voiced his outrage at a gay couple's threat to sue the Church of England for refusing to marry same-sex couples. (England's marriage law takes effect sometime next year. It will allow gay couples to marry in a church, provided it has opted in, with the Church of England given an exception.)

“God is going to withhold his blessing from sodomy because God has defined that as sin,” Klingenschmitt told his viewers.

He added that one day “Jesus will come back and rule. In fact, he'll strike down the judge, he'll strike down the law in Britain, he'll strike down the sodomites and throw them into Hell.” (The video is embedded on this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
