Sara Gilbert does not believe that British GQ should have asked
One Direction's Harry Styles whether he's dating another man.
The magazine, which this month is featuring the boy band on its
cover, asked Styles whether he's dating his friend, British DJ Nick
Grimshaw.
“Bisexual? Me? I don't think so,” Styles responded. “I'm
pretty sure I'm not.”
The subject made its way to the ABC daytime talk show The Talk,
where co-host Gilbert, who is openly lesbian, said that the magazine
wasn't right to ask the question in the first place.
“I think it's inappropriate. I feel like it's not just asking
about somebody's sexual orientation but, 'Oh, were you in a
relationship with this person.' Gay or straight, I don't think that
you should be probing into somebody's personal life in an interview,”
