Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton on
Thursday released a video in which he claims that a male model is to
blame for the split of actors Zachary Quinto and Jonathan Groff.
Hilton was the first to break the news
that the pair had called it quits.
In September, the 36-year-old Quinto
(Star Trek Into Darkness) confirmed rumors that he was dating
Glee guest star Groff, the 28-year-old star of the film C.O.G.
“I'm incredibly happy. I'm
incredibly lucky,” he said of the relationship in an Out
cover story.
US Weekly reported that the
couple split due to conflicting work schedules.
But Hilton disagreed, saying that male
model Miles McMillan was the cause of the breakup.
“Sources told me that it wasn't a
harmonious split, it was a little bit acrimonious actually,” Hilton
said. “And it was Zachary who initiated the breakup. Yes, long
distance did have a factor in the demise of their relationship. But
what was the real end to Zachary and Jonathan Groff was that Quinto
wanted to have an open relationship. Jake Groff was not down with
that, so they called it quits.”
Neither Quinto nor Groff have spoken
publicly on the issue.
Hilton added that Quinto and McMillan
