A photo of actress Eva Longoria sharing
a kiss with Belgian-Italian singer Lara Fabian is fake, the
photographer behind the original photo claims.
The 38-year-old Longoria, who is best
known for her role playing Gabrielle Solis on the ABC dramedy
Desperate Housewives, and Fabian, 43, participated in French
photographer Oliver Ciappa's campaign against homophobia, titled Les
Couples Imaginaires (Imaginary Couples).
In their official photo for the
campaign, the women are seen gently nuzzling up against each other.
In a photo not used in the campaign but
posted on Facebook, Ciappa is sandwiched between the women as each
kisses him on the cheek.
The rogue photoshopped photo removes
Ciappa, leaving only the women sharing a kiss.
“I think it's super cute,” Ciappa
said in a Facebook post. “I must admit that the picture works
pretty good but it is a fake.”
Other “imaginary” gay couples
taking part in the campaign include hunky French swimmers Florent
Manaudou and Frederick Bousquet.
