Singer Ke$ha has described gay men as
“really magical people.”
The 25-year-old Ke$ha – full name
Kesha Rose Sebert – released her debut album, Animal, in
2010. Her second album, Warrior, arrives later this month.
The single Die Young from her upcoming album is her eighth
top-ten hit.
Speaking to UK's Gaydar Radio, Ke$ha
found it difficult to explain her affinity for gay men.
When Phil Marriott asked, “Do you
sometimes wish you were a gay man?” Ke$ha answered: “Are you
joking? Yes, I do.”
“Why is that?”
“I don't know, there's just an energy
to a gay man that has, you know … it's not really comparable to any
other people. You guys just … you just exude just this happiness,”
Ke$ha said.
“Pretty much my whole touring party,
as far as like the dancers, it's a lot of gay, beautiful, beautiful
men. … And they're just gorgeous. And their love of life is
amazing. They're just, I don't know, just really magical people.”
