Cabler the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN)
on Saturday will premiere a reality show featuring the lives of a gay
family.
10 Kids, 2 Dads peeks into the
lives of gay couple Clint and Bryan McCormack-Reamer as they raise 10
adopted sons from at-risk backgrounds in a conservative town 20 miles
outside of Detroit, Michigan.
“Together, their non-traditional,
multiracial family must overcome many challenges, obstacles and
prejudices, all in the name of love,” the show's description reads.
In a trailer for the series, the dads
are heard saying, “I don't consider our family unique. I know a
lot of other people do. But we're a family.” And, “I'm not sure
it's any less stressful than any other family that's got three or
four or five kids. Six, seven, eight, nine, ten.” (The video is

The series comes from World of Wonder,
which previously produced the Chaz Bono documentaries Becoming
Chaz and Being Chaz.
10 Kids, 2 Days premieres
Saturday, August 18 at 10PM on OWN.
