Comedian Jon Stewart has called
Chick-Fil-A foe Adam Smith a “dick” for harassing a drive-thru
worker.
On Tuesday night's broadcast of Comedy
Central's Daily Show, Stewart took a swipe at Smith, the
Tucson man who was fired after he posted a video of himself harassing
a Chick-Fil-A employee named Rachel over the fast-food chain's
opposition to gay marriage.
“I don't know how you live with
yourself and work here. I don't understand it. This is a horrible
corporation with horrible values. You deserve better,” Smith told
Rachel, who remained calm and polite throughout the exchange.
Stewart mocked Smith's assertion that
he felt good about himself because he had done something
“purposeful”: “'Oh, I should be clear, my purpose is to be a
dick!'”
Smith also informed Rachel that he's
“totally heterosexual” and “I just can't stand the hate.”
“'Your company sucks and I don't blow
dudes,'” a horrified Stewart mocked. “'So, um, I just think your
company should be respectful. I don't fuck guys.'”
