Chloe Sevigny playing a transgender hit woman in the UK drama Hit & Miss released its official trailer on Friday.

Hit & Miss is the first original series commissioned by recently-launched satellite channel Sky Atlantic in Britain. It will have its US premiere on DIRECTV's Audience Network on Wednesday, July 11.

In the 6-episode series from creator Paul Abbott (Shameless, State of Play), the 37-year-old Sevigny, who found herself unemployed after HBO canceled Big Love last year, plays Mia.

According to the show's description, Mia finds out that she fathered a son eleven years ago and her former girlfriend is dying from cancer.

“Faced with a difficult decision, Mia becomes the guardian to a new family forcing her to mix her killer instincts with her newly developing maternal instincts.”

After the release of several teaser clips, an official trailer was released on Friday. In it, we see Mia telling a handsome man, “I'm not like other women,” and the man responding, “That's why I like you.”

After a man says, “You're like a machine, Mia,” we see the contract killer knocking off three men. (The video is embedded in the right panel of this page. Visit our video library for more videos.)
