The Talk co-host Sara Gilbert
has said Emma Watson could be sporting a lesbian haircut.
In an interview with the UK's The
Independent, the 21-year-old Watson, known for playing
Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, said her new
pixie haircut had created controversy.
“I had journalists asking me if this
meant I was coming out, if I was a lesbian now,” Watson said with
an eye roll. “That haircut did make me realize how subjective
everyone's opinion is. Some people were crazy for it and some people
just thought I'd lost my shit. All I can do is follow my instincts,
because I'll never please everyone.”
“Is there such a thing as a lesbian
haircut?” Julie Chen asked openly gay Gilbert during a The Talk
segment.
“Yes there is,” answered Gilbert,
who then went on to name three.
“The first one is like the
traditional male military, like a k.d. lang kind of haircut,”
Gilbert said. “The second is sort of like a 70s shag, like what
I'm sporting. The third is a Justin Bieber type haircut like
[co-host] Sharon [Osbourne] has.”
